IP PHONE

IP stands for Internet Protocol. Instead of sending analogue voice signals over the old PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), an IP phone converts the voice signal into small data packets and sends it to the user over the internet. The internet network used here can be your private data network or a public network if required.
